Shining

Today I started with high expectations. First get the lessons done, work on baking for the guys upcoming trip for work and some much needed organization in the bedrooms. Well to much diappointment I am still working on the lessons.

This I guess this is really a good day for a lesson in patients, thats for myself. My youngest reminds me " We are suppose to shine what Jesus would shine". So as I take a step back and look, I realize that it's me who needs the lessn today. The children will learn the math and english regardless how long it takes them to finish. As for me, well lets say I will "shine" for today.

I will continue to sit and go over the contractions until they understand where the apostrophe goes and enjoy the rainy day.

A little about our family

We are a family of six. Our oldest Val is 20 and attending SUNY Cortland. She finally has a group of friends she is comfortable with and loves dearly. This is her third year at college and she is already talking about getting married to her boyfriend of five years.

Then we have Zachary who is 15. Zach is very strong willed and has resently been abducted by aliens. The good natured, funny jokster has resently turn in to what all parents of teenage boys call "the abducted Child". We look forward to his return.

Christopher Jr. is a free spirted and creative child. A little like a woods sprite. He is very loving and protects his little sister with everthing he has in him. He is all of 8. Christopher loves to build and play.

Juliette is a girly girl with a lot of attitude. She is also very loving and loves to snuggle. She is also known to have the fists of fury when not getting her way. She has a shriek that can easily skin an animal alive. Juliette is 6.

As for My husband Chris he is self employed as an consulting forester. He is assistant chief for our local fire deptment. he also volunteers for several other groups. His heart is big and like to help people. His family is always first.
We enjoy raising our family Almost totally organic. On our small farm we raise chicken and turkeys. We have some egg chicken and ducks. Hopefuly we will do pigs too. We live life according to Gods law (or aleast try hard).

Thats just a little glmpse of our family. The little things that go on in our everyday life will be shared with you. hope to bring some laughter to you house from ours.
